As the Sacred Heart Academy has outgrown its campus facilities, the Christian Brothers decided to convert the existing on-campus residence occupied by the teaching brothers to academic use. The brotherhood purchased another home just a block from the campus to replace it and also to provide an in-city base for the Napa-based organization. We were asked to help freshen the interiors and specify furniture and furnishings for the home. Our work included replacing moldings that had been removed in an earlier renovation and improving lighting in the public areas. In addition, we helped select new religious artwork and chose pieces from the brotherhood's archive in Napa that celebrate its long history in California.
